DS-3001 STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMME (SAP)

Description

Study Abroad Programme entails ONE semester of study in an established international university normally beyond Asian region. This programme is very popular among students, yet very competitive.

This study will be fully/partially funded depending on student's cGPA by the government (for Brunei citizens on government scholarship only) and students will have the chance to explore, discover, enjoy and appreciate different cultures that exists in the country of their study once they are abroad.

For August 2013 intake onwards, all modules (worth 16 modular credits) taken in the universities abroad will contribute to studentsΒ’ cGPA. Therefore, students are advised to maximise their academic potential abroad, while enjoying their overseas stay.

Students are expected to take modules related to their majors which are not offered by the faculty, and these modules will be transferred as breadth modules.

Eligibility

Students with cGPA of at least 3.8 over the first three semesters, and have completed all degree core modules of the faculty. For students with exemptions, the first two semesters result must be at least cGPA of 3.8.

For LDP students, they must accumulate cGPA of 3.8 above in order to be eligible.
